For seven years, I kept seeing the same thing: Couples feeling like their wedding day was a photoshoot. The whole timeline was built around a shot list, and moments were being created for the camera instead of simply happening. The day felt stressful, went by too fast, and ended up feeling a little shallow.
So I started doing it differently. I wanted my clients to live their days exactly the way they wanted to, trusting that they'd still get beautiful images that captured what actually happened, not just what was on a list.
That belief shapes everything I do, from weddings to family sessions to brand work. I get to know you first, pay attention to what you notice, what you care about, and the little things you don't. I let your presence guide the images I take, not just a shot list. When there's a moment for portraits, I'll gently guide you with prompts that help ground you back into presence, so even those feel like you.

A family session should feel like a good day with the people you love most. We'll plan it somewhere you feel most like yourself, whether that's home or a favorite spot, and then I'll let your kids lead. I'll still guide you, but with thoughtful prompts instead of stiff posing, to help ground you back into presence. It's here, when you're fully enjoying your babies, that we capture meaningful imagery you'll want to hold onto forever.

Shelby is phenomenal! My husband and I are not comfortable around the camera and usually tense up when cameras are pointed at us, but Shelby is extremely intuitive and knew what direction we needed. Our photos are organic and not posed. She did a beautiful job of capturing the essence of our wedding and went as far as taking beautiful family photos of our friends and their children.
